Sergio Rossi Limited edition red carpet 2008

 

Sergio Rossi creates, exclusively for celebrities, a limited edition sandal. This creation will be worn for the first time on the red carpet at the 61st Cannes Film Festival.
 
Edmundo Castillo, Creative Director for Sergio Rossi says “This shoe celebrates the festive mood of a festival that takes place in one of the most beautiful and glamorous coasts of the world. An event where cinema and fashion meet to fill your eyes with inspiration.”
 
The sandal has been realized in shimmering gold and silver satin with a bow that decorates, with elegance, the open toe upper. The foot lays on a 2 cm platform, which makes light of the 11 cm heel. “limited edition red carpet 2008” is the inscription on the metal plate on the sole.
 
 
The sandal will be available to purchase in a limited run of just 150 pairs and will be exclusively sold in Sergio Rossi boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Rome, London and Paris from the 14th May 2008.
